His works are exhibited in many Russian museums. The artist is frequently participates in International Art exhibitions and has many prizes including the National Prize of Russia.
The box shows a beautiful view of the ancient Russian town of Suzdal in Summer time. The scene is painted in green and brown tones of oils. This palette is enriched by shimmering silver powder and bright mother-of-pearl inlay set into the upper part of the composition where the Cathedrals are depicted.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. The scene is framed with a gold band while the box's sides are decorated with two parallel gold bands. A hinge is fastened to the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2020.
