This very detailed five-sided casket with flower scenes was painted by establshed Fedoskino artist, Igor Evmenenko. Evmenenko has been working as a teacher of Art at the Fedoskino Art school for several years.
Each side of this casket has unique composition shows flower bed of yellow-cups and other beautiful plants.
The scenes are painted in bright oils over the black background in the realistic style with photo quality accuracy. An enchanting work!
The casket is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box.
Lid is fastened to the base with a hinge. The box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the name of the artist and dated 2013.
