Rogatov Vladimir is the known and talented Fedoskino artists, who has painted this interesting five-sided casket. Rogatov is skilled and experienced in painting technique as it is a very complicated task to reproduce realistically a visual appearance of any person surrounding objects and architecture.
Here the artist has painted several scenes from a life of the Musician.
On the front side we see a Workshop where the violin is making.
On the right side we can see a boy, who is learning to play violin, while on the left side of the casket we can see a teen boy at the window with a violin in his hands.
On the back side there is a still life of the table with a violon.
On the lid we can see a final moment, when the musiciant became a professional and play solo on the violin in the orchestra.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior of the bottom and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The rest of the box is painted brown, the same base tone of the whole casket.
The casket has a hinge from the top of the painting on the lid. And it and rests on four legs. The box is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and 2013.
