This magical piece of genuine Russian artistry was composed by the talented Yuriy Petrov , whose style is as unique as it is recognizable. Nature is his chief muse and he manipulates what is painted to bring across his personal artistic vision. Blending techniques with realism, he is able to paint in a style that is new and fresh to the world of lacquer miniatures.
The box shows a canvas with the leaf fall. The leafs are 3 Dimentional. On the brown (not lacquered part of the box) , that imitates the bark of the tree, showing us a janitor with a broom, who is cleaning up an old Autumn Park.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Dark brown lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while bronze metallic lacquer completes the interior of the work. A hinge is fastened from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the workshops of Yuriy Petrov and the year of 2017 on the lid's interior.
