This colorful matryoshka of original style was made by Krylova from Sergiev Posad. It includes five dolls made out of wood. The dolls show children, boys and girls, together with their pets. The children are pretty, pink-cheeked, and blue eyed. They smile merrily playing with their toys and pets. At first sight the viewer may notice that this matryoshka is untraditional and differs from the other specimens of this kind of folk art. Some of these dolls have hair that is not typical for matryoska production! The first and the biggest doll shows a girl with the basket from which three charming puppies peep out. The girl is dressed in the green dress adorned with yellow flowers, a violet vest, a yellow shirt and the blue kerchief adorned with red flowers. Her blond hair made out of threads is tied with the pink ribbons. The second doll features the boy playing with a puppy and a ball. He is dressed in a green shirt, the blue trousers adorned with yellow flowers and a violet vest. His hair is not made out of threads but painted. The third doll shows the girl holding a puppy in her hands. She is dressed just like the first and the biggest doll. Her hair is also made out of threads. The fourth doll shows the boy with a ball. He is dressed like the second doll and his hair is also drawn. The fifth and the smallest doll features a puppy.
