This is a splendid work of V. Belov from the village of Fedoskino. It is painted in the realistic style, and features two harnessed steeds. To paint the steeds the artist uses two distinct black and white tones, to create a contrast on each of them.
The scene is framed with the elegant gold pattern. The exterior of the box is dark blue with light blue patches, while the interior is traditionally red.
The lid is hinged from the left and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed by the artist.
