This creative piece of authentic Russian artistry was created by the talented Miroshnichenko of Fedoskino. Very often her boxes are designed in an original manner, have uncommon shape and supplied with three-dimensional elements. This work shows that she dares to experiment not only with a shape but also with a material.
This time Miroshichenko has painted two puppies sleeping on the floor. This sentimental scene is drawn on the thin papier-mache plate glued to the small brown sack made out of chamois leather material. Another plate that imitates a stone color is glued to the reverse side. In the middle of this plate a beautiful gold pattern is painted. The edges of each plate are decorated with a nice gold ornament.
To paint this work the artist has used brown tones of oils. The heads of both puppies are crafted three-dimensionally.
The sack can be closed by means of a leather cord. The work is signed by the artist.
