This elegantly designed small box has been drawn by Natalya Gogina from the village of Fedoskino. In the middle of the box's lid the artists has drawn a bouquet of beautiful flowers against the dark green background. Dark green tone of oils has been also chosen to cover the box's sides. The edges of the lid are decorated with a gold scan pattern (skan are individual gold punchouts that are applied to the box during the drying process of the lacquer). On each angle of the box's sides the artist has drawn a bouquet of flowers using oil paints. The box's sides are also decorated with a nice gold ornament.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid isn't hinged, and the box rests on four feet. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2006 on the box's exterior bottom.
