This brilliantly painted sentimental scene is a creation of a well-known Fedoskino artist, Galina Sverlova.
The composition shows a little girl pushing a carriage with three pupies in it. The girl is wearing pyjamas,her trousers are openworked. We can see a beautiful garden full of summer flowers on the background.The beams of the sun are focused on the carriage and the girl. If we will add the sound of birds with thier songs,the composition will be complete! But the painting is not transfer the sounds...
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work.
The box's sides are decorated with gold ornamet. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name and 2015.
