The lid shows a moment of taking the power from the Imperior family of the Romanovs in St.Petersburg. Soldiers, workers and peasants have captured the Winter Palace.
The paintings are continuing on the sides of the box.
Some of the slogans are saying:
Power-to the Soviets!
Earth-to the peasants!
Viva to the revolution!
Viva to the Great October!
Peace to all the people!
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior and red lacquer is used to paint the interior of the box. The box has a hinge located above the composition and rests on four feet. The artist wrote Fedoskino, 2019, and his name.
