Olga Kachalkina, from the village of Fedoskino is the talented artist responsible for this unusual composition. The box has original shape and the painting is going all over the box except the surface of the bottom. Here we can see two frogs sit on the big leaves of lilies.
The plants, grass and leaves are drawn in brilliant gold metal paint. The rest part of the composition is drawn in subdued oils. Listerine of metal paints is strengthened by the dark blue background.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title ("A Frog for a good luck") and the year of 2016 at the exterior bottom.
