This elegant original scene has been painted by the talented Fedoskino artist, Margarita Belova. It shows a girl standing in the garden.The work is called "You are welcome to fly into to my Garden, Dove". The box shows a young girl standing under the blossom tree. The girl is wearing a flower wreath and get a a branch of clematis in her hand.
The scene is painted in light blue and green oils.Flowers are painted very presize.
The painting in oval is framed with gold and silver scan patterns (made of tiny shapes hand punched from gold metal sheets, and then glued to the box manually). The edges of the lid are also decorated with similar but golden scan pattern.
The lid's exterior is covered with a mixture of violet lacquer with silver dust. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.The sides of the box are painted with the mixture of the colors, that imitates a dark blue marble.
The box is constructed out of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name, title and the village of Fedoskino.
