This captivating piece of charm has been created by established Palekh artist Vera Smirnova.On this composition we can see the four elements- Earth, Water, Air and Fire. The characters are extremely well detailed. Smirnova really knows how to take command of this interesting scene.
As customary with Palekh tradition, the black lacquer exterior also acts like the background for the scene. This furthers the beauty of the composition tremendously. Using lustrous gold leaf, the artist has decorated the costumes of all the characters. Gold paints are also used to detail the scene.
