This touching work has been painted by Golubeonkova Yuliya. The box depicts a young pair on their knees, holding an egg in their hands... It is a summer night and the Angel is looking at the pair from the above. The wings of an angel and a halo are painted with gold.
The scene is masterfully painted in light blue, brown and white tones. The outer edge of the lid is painted with a band of gold paint. The base of the box has two lines done in gold painted parallel to each other, the bottom line slightly thicker than the other.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom.
The work is signed with the artist's name.
