Description: Rinat Yunusov is enchanted with beauty of the ancient architecture of the Moscow Kremlin, and continues to depict it in his brilliant works.
Here on the foreground the artist has painted a magnificent view of the Moscow Kremlin . In the background the artist has painted the Great Kremlin Palace, and fragments of the Belfry of Ivan the Great, the Archangel Cathedral, and the Spasskaya Tower.
Gold metal powder has been used as an underlayer for this scene to create a charming sparkle of the architecture, the trees and even the grass. Yunusov has paid great care to detail, inviting the viewer again and again to delight in the scene.
A piece of mother-of-pearl is shinning the thought the walls of the Cathedral in the central part of the composition.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The box's exterior imitates the stone of malachite (green blurry spots and veins are scattered against the black lacquered background), while the interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The lid is hinged to the left of the scene and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name, the year of 2007, Moscow and the title -The Archangel Cathedral of Moscow Kremlin.
