Talented artist and ex-teacher of Fedoskino Art school Golovchonkov Oleg has created this attractive box. It features a teenage girl with a basket full of raspberries and a puppy dog.
Exceptional technique and masterful skill are needed to create this work. It is as entrancing as it is traditional. The face of girl is painted presize, shadows on a skin are painted softly.
On the background of the composition we can see a path that goes to a small house, and to the left from a girl there is a large Oak tree.
The scene is framed with a thin gold line. Two parallel gold lines wraps around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on the fur small round feet. The work is signed with the artist's initials G.O.
