Daughter of the famous Fedoskino landscape painter, Vladimir Serdodetskov, Ekaterina has painted this Winter landscape. On this box she has drawn a peaceful winter landscape scene, where on the background we can find a small village.
The palette of colors used by the artist helps to depict the chosen time of the year. White, blue and gray tones make up the majority of the colors.
The sides of the box are decorated with gold and silver intricate ornament.
The box is made out of paper-mache. The box's exterior bottom is covered with black lacquer while the interior is covered with red lacquer. The box has a hinge on top of the composition and it rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name, the village of Fedoskino and 19(2019).
