This simple, but stylish still life composition was painted in Fedoskino.
The box shows a set of Teapot, field daysies,a cup of tea with one strawberry on a saucer.The teapot is made of polished shiny metal, and it reflects daisies tablecloth, cup on saucer and strawberry.
The painting is framed with a band of aluminum line.The box's sides are decorated with two parallel aluminum lines.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left side of a scene, and the box rests flat. The work is not signed.
