his box was painted by a talented Fedoskino artist Nina Pershina.
The box may interest the admirers of the Russian Ballet that is considered to be the best among another ballet schools. Bolshoy Theatre in Moscow and the Saint Petersburg Maryinsky Theatre are world-famous.
The theme of the Russian Ballet is very popular among Fedoskino artists, and this work continues this series.
Here we can see the a little ballet dancer sit in the middle of the room, and playing with a puppy. The ballerina tutu of the girl-dancer is snow-white, the top is light rose color. The quality of the painting is very high, details of the costume are just amazing!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work.
The painting is framed with a gold line. Two parallel gold lines are decorating the sides of the box.
A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The box is signed with the date (2019) and the name of the artist.
