This gorgeous and sentimental composition was painted by a talented Fedoskino artist Pershina Nina.
The theme of the Russian Ballet is very popular among Fedoskino artists, and this work continues this series.
Here we can see a little ballet dancer taking a rest and she is straightened pointe shoes. Girl is dressed in a costume of light rose color. The quality of the painting is high, soft, details of the costume are just amazing, face is charming!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The painting is framed with a gold line. Two parallel gold lines are decorating the sides of the box.
A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on six wavy legs. The box is signed with the date (2019) and the name of the artist.
