This small casket was painted by a talented artist Sergey Parmeonov of Fedoskino. All nine sides of it features the clarity and beauty of an autumn landscape.
Every scene of each side depicts a wiev of a forest covered with golden leaves.
The scenes are painted mostly in white and brown,blue and golden tones, which helps to reproduce the atmosphere of a fall day.
Sheets of golden foil are inlayed in the skies and creates the depth and the brilliance of sunrays fighting through dense gray and blue clouds.
The exterior of the box is painted with black lacquer and the interior is painted with red lacquer. The casket is hinged and the box rests on four small round legs.
