The artist has used an oval-shaped box to extend the enigmatic night(or evening) scene on the entire surface of the box. The sky shimmers dramatically as they has been painted over a thin silver paint and several pieces of mother-of-pearl. Gold paint is used to detail and highlight almost each element of the composition, especially details of the trees. The details of the feathers of the birds are amazing! The artist is truly a professional!
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged to the left of composition, and the box rests on wavy platform. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title, Fedoskino and the year of 2015.
