This original work has been created by one of the leading Fedoskino artists, Belovodov Denis. The theme of Circus and strolling actors inspires him to paint the last several original works.
The box shows Circus actors behind the stage. Young lady is fixing the hat of the clown, sewing by hand pompon to a hat. We can see a Goose wearing a hat and bowtie on the front of the scene.
The scene is nicely painted in contrasting colors against the creamy yellow background of the curtains of the stage.
The composition is framed with a gold line,the sides of the box are decorated with a thick gold line as well.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Its creamy gray exterior is covered with dark green and yellow veins to imitate marble; red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests flat. Under the composition an artist has written Fedoskino, 2018 and the artist name.
