This interesting set of a box and a pendant is a creation of family duet-Svetlana and Konstantin Komogorovs. In this work the artists have painted a fantasy composition of a Flying Carpet.
The composition is painted in bright oils. The costumes of the girl and a lad are painted in bright colors. Gold paint is used to depict the trees and plants. The composition is very shiny and detailed!
The box is constructed out of paper-mache and epoxy resin. Golden paint with black vein lines covers the exterior of the base and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box has a hinge from the top of the scene, and rests flat.
The pendant is made of stone, and after that the painting was done.The work is signed with the artist's names and the title of the work ("The Flying Carpet").
