Well-known Fedoskino artist Danshin Konstantin has painted this scene with animals.
The action takes place in mountains covered with snow. Two big brown bears are meet each other halfway.To the side of one bear from the left there are the horns of a slain deer.
The surrounding landscape is spelled out very meticulously and in detail. The grass protruding from under the snow, the trunks of dry trees and green pines and firs are painted with photographic clarity, as well as the fur of bears.
The scene is framed with a gold line. The sides of the box are decorated with two parallel gold lines.
The interior is covered with red lacquer, exterior is painted black.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests on the platform with four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name.
