This unique-shape box was painted by a talented artist Igor Evmenenko from the village of Fedoskino.
The box has seven compartments, six of them are hindged to the base and the central one is not.
The box shows a flower bed, full of different kind of flowers. The scene is painted in bright red and orange oils with photo quality accuracy over the black background. Interesting work!
The box is constructed from paper-mache and pressed paper. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box rests on three legs. The work is not signed.
