Lidia Davydova from the village of Fedoskino has created a series of boxes with hovering over flower bed butterflies and other insects. This box is continuing this series.
The box's lid and the sides are covered with the painting of butterflies and different plants. Gold metal leaf shines brilliantly through the wings of each butterfly!
The whole box's exterior is covered with the lemon cream color.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. A hinge is fastened to the top of the scene, and the box rests flat. The work is signed with the artist's name and Fedoskino.
