The graceful five-domed Church of the Archangel Michael built in 1657 is interesting not only with its outward appearance, but also with frescoes painted by Fyodor Fyodorov's artel in 1731.
White and light red colors are dominated in the palette of this composition. Gold paint adds illumination to the crosses of the cathedral.

The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box is hinged from the left of the scene, and rests on four legs. The work is signed, dated (2011) and titled by the artist on the inner side of a lid.
