This large treasure chest was painted on a Hunting theme by Galina Kapralova. Chest has three compartments and a drawer.
Each lid of the compartments shows a scene with a different hunt- hunt on Wood grouses, Ducks,Hares or Elk.
The chest is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the piece. The sides of the chest are decorated with pine branches and cones, painted in green and brown colors and gold paint.
Golden dot ornamentation frames all compositions on all the lids. These lids has hinges from a top of the paintings and a chest rests on four legs. It is signed with the artist's name, village of Kholui and title.
