This romantic and detailed composition has been painted by a talented artist Valentina Kruykova from the village of Palekh.
The composition shows a pretty young couple on the swing. Surround the couple we can see beautiful forest trees headlined with thin gold paint. Under them- there is a river and to the left- small village house.
The composition is framed with a golden dot pattern and the sides of the box are decorated with rich gold ornamentation.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior of the sides of the box and dark red lacquer covers the interior. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on a flat bottom. Signed with the name of the artist, Palekh and a year 2019 at the bottom of the composition.
