A Family tandem of the Subbotins, Olga and Mikhail, is responsible for this colorful and detailed plate.
The palete is painted is traditional Palekh style, with a black background, and traditional hills! The authors shows a lady on a front, who came to a river to wash her face with a fresh water, after spending several hours in a forest gathering berries. On a right side we can see a lad who is fishing, on a left side a pair is going to a field to mow hay with braids.
Composition is full of great details, the way the artists headlines the trees, figures of the people is amazing!
The plate is made of paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece.
The plate can be wall-hang through a special round panel with holes for a string. It is signed with the village of Palekh, artists names and year of 2017.
