Talented artist Galina Tsiganova from the village of Palekh has painted this scene with a winter troika (three horse sleigh) speeding through the Russian countryside.
In the passanger we can easy recognize famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, portrait like similarity is obvious! Pushkin hides from the snowstorm in the sleigh while a driver encourages the horses.
Gold paint is used to detail the sledge, the characters' costumes and the horses' harnesses, manes and tails. This is work is simply amazing, very thin details!
