Known for her clever boxes with three-dimensional elements carved from them, Karina Kersilyan of Fedoskino takes her art a step further by making the entire piece more a sculpture than a box! Combining her skill for crafting unique objects with her talent for painting, Karina makes these mushrooms, complete with green leaves, a snail, and a little ladybird. What's more surprising is that the top section of the mushroom opens on a hinge to reveal a small square compartment--a box after all!
