This is one more wonderful creation of Mishin from the village of Fedoskino. It shows a sentimental scene painted in the realistic style. The little boy has dropped the jar of milk on the ground, and now he is very sad as he knows that his mother will scold him. The boy's dog feels his melancholy mood, and tries to cheer up him.
The scene is framed with a gold line; the box's sides are decorated with two parallel gold lines. The black lacquered box's exterior is covered with dark crimson paint, but in some places the black lacquer is apparent. For additional decoration the box's exterior is also covered with gold metal dust. The box's interior is traditionally red.
