Natalya Gogina is the artist who painted this peaceful Fedoskino box.
Natalya was born in 1956 and now resides in the town of Zelenograd, Moscow Region. She finished the Fedoskino Art School in 1976.
The box shows summer landscape with two tiny people's figures.The scene is painted in grey tones of oils in the realistic style.
The box might be called "Exploring the Motherland".
Silver scan patterns wrap around the edge of the top of the box.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The box is not hinged and rests on three small round legs. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino and the year of 2006.
