No doubt, this very attractive box will attract attention of cat lovers. It is one more box from Dudkina's "cat" series. Here the artist has depicted the charming red-striped kitten.
The scene is painted in the realistic style so skillfully that it seems that the kitten is photographed with the camera, but not drawn with a brush.
The painting is frmed with very charmed golden ornament and the box's sides are painted in a mixture of different colors-yellow, gold and red.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name and the village of Fedoskino.
