This originally designed box is a wonderful creation of Konstantin Danshin from the village of Fedoskino.
The box depicts an owl sitting on the tree at night. The bird is painted in brown tones against the dark blue starry night background. Silver powder mixed with oils helps to create radiance of the full moon and the stars. The artist continues to paint the starry night sky on the box's sides.
The box's exterior bottom is covered with black lacquer. The box's exterior is decorated with silver scan patterns (composed of tiny silver metal shapes glued to the box manually). The box's interior is covered with dark blue paint mixed with silver powder. The work is signed with the artist's name.
