Bobkova from the village of Fedoskino is the author of this attractive box that shows Santa Claus who gathers presents for children. The scene is painted in bright oils and detailed with brilliant gold paint. Gold paint is also used to frame the scene with a gold line. The box's exterior (except the box's exterior bottom) is decorated with beautiful patterns that resemble frost patterns on the window. These patterns are painted with the help of lustrous silver powder. The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title ("Santa Claus") and the village of Fedoskino.
