Talented Lubov Goleneva from the village of Fedoskino has painted this alluring portrait of a Greek woman with a jug of wine. It's very hot and the sun shines brightly. The woman has found the shelter under thick branches of a walnut tree. She looks at the calm, light blue sea and enjoys the aroma of flowering oleanders.
The portrait is framed with a thin gold line. Two parallel gold lines wrap around the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the box while red lacquer completes the interior of the work. The lid is hinged from the left of the portrait, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name.
