This interesting work has been created by a telented artist Vladimir Feodorov from the village of Fedoskino.
The box is showing a basket made out of flexible twigs full of ash-berries standing near a stub covered with honey agaric mushrooms. To paint this work the artist has used various shades of brown oils, and gold metal foil as an under-layer for the oils. Gold paint shines beautifully through the oils, and the box looks festive and appealing.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged at top, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The box's interior is covered with red lacquer; the box's exterior bottom is covered with black lacquer. Signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2013 on the interior of the lid.
