Artist Svetlana Komogorova from the village of Fedoskino is the author of this attractive box that shows Santa Claus surround different animals.
The scene is painted in bright oils and detailed with brilliant silver paint. Beautiful patterns that resemble frost patterns on the window comes from the top of the box all the way to the sides of the lid. These patterns are painted with the help of lustrous silver powder. The box's interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the left of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, the title ("Santa") and the village of Fedoskino.
