This box is a creation of prominent Fedoskino landscape painter, Sergey Parmeonov.
Here he has masterfully reflected beauty of Russian countryside in winter. A flash of sunset colors on the sky is achieved with the help of a sparkling gold metal foil. Painterly skill creates a dramatic interplay of light and shadow within the scene.
The scene is outlined with gold line on the box's sides.
