Well-known artist Pershina Nina from the village of Fedoskino is the creator of this exquisite brooch.
On the oval piece of mother-of-pearl the artist has painted a traditional scene of speeding troika. A couple traveles the green-covered expanses of Russian countryside sitting in the tilt cart pulled at high speed by three mighty horses. Mother-of-pearl shines beautifully through the oils and creates a sparkle of the road and the background.
The oval pearl plate on which the brooch is painted is set into the frame made out of German silver. The work is signed with the artist's name and Fedoskino.
