Talented Fedoskino artist Boris Shavirin has been painted this peaceful scene.
On the front of the composition we can see two village ladies, who are talking at the street wooden fence. Snow-covered houses are painted on the background. Gray and light blue tones suitable for the reproduction of winter dullness predominate here.
The box exterior's sides imitates the coloring of blue marble (tiny black veins are scattered against the light blue background).
The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer. The box is constructed of paper-mache. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on a flat bottom. The work is signed with the artist's name, Fedoskino, and the year of 2015.
