The scene is painted in different shades of white, brown and gray. There is infinite texture in the landscape. The structure of the trees is highly elaborate. Each and every leaf, detailed to perfection! There is a piece of mother-of-pearl inlayed in the composition! It is in the skyies over the village houses.
The painting is framed with a golden line. The sides are decorated with two parallel gold lines.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the piece while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. A hinge is fastened to the top of the composition, and the box rests flat. The work is signed and dated (2011) at the bottom of the composition.
