Talented Fedoskino artist Parmeonov Alexander has continued the series of his boxes with different birds and animals.
Here the artist has depicted an owl flying in the forest.
The scene is painted in brown, gray and green tones. A small piece of mother-of-pearl can be found to the right and a little above the owl.
The box is constructed from pressed paper. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box.
The painting is framed with a gold line. Two parallel gold lines are decorating the sides of the box.
The lid is hinged from the left of the painting and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed with the artist's name.
