The first one is inlaid into the portion of the sky to create brightness of the sunrays struggling through dense clouds. The second one is inlaid into the portion of the lad's shirt, and the third one is inlaid into the portion of the girl's shirt. Blue areas of the composition are painted over aluminum powder that strengthens the color and adds additional festivity to the piece. Gold is used to paint the sunflowers, to detail the hair of both characters and all plants.
