This eye-glasses holder case was painted by Shvireva from the village of Fedoskino. It portrays Diana, the goddess of hunting. Accompanied with the dog, she blows the horn and holds the big bow.
The exterior of the piece is covered with light gray blurry spots painted against the dark gray background. This original ornamentation is highlighted with aluminum powder. The interior is traditionally red.
The scene is framed with elegant gold and silver bluish patterns. The same patterns decorate the edges of the lid. The circle of original gold and silver bluish patterns can be found in the middle of the box's exterior bottom.
The box is made out of high-quality paper-mache. The lid isn't hinged. The work is signed by the artist.
