The prominent Fedoskino artist Vladimir Rogatov created this original cannon-base shape box. Its lid features two soldiers standing near the cannon and preparing to fire.
The exterior of the box is covered with beige lacquer, and decorated with gold tartan patterns. The interior of the box is also beige. The lid is hinged from the left of the composition, and the box rests on four legs. The work is signed by the artist.
