This attractive box is a creation of R. Tyuvaev. Its whole surface is covered with colorful painting, including its interior.
The work is painted in the surrealist style as everything depicted here reminds a fragment of someone's dream. The lid shows the girl and her little brother flying in the night sky carried by the huge white swan. This strange scene is extended on the box's sides where the artist painted the cat, the fish and the flowers. All this is painted in blue oils over aluminum powder that enhances the colors and helps the box look festive and bright. Mother-of-pearl shimmers through the swan's body as well as through the girl's dress and hair.
On the box's exterior bottom the artist painted water bubbles again using blue oils and aluminum powder as an underlayer. The box's interior is covered with gold powder, and over this gold area the artist painted various images
